Our company was formed in 1999, and is headquartered in Richmond, Virginia. The company is a woman owned business that was started by Carol DeSilva who is still the sole owner. The company has evolved to include transportation consulting services as well as courier and logistics services. Couriers Advisory Group's chief consultant is Phil DeSilva, BA, and MS. He is an award winning transportation and logistics coordinator. He has established transportation networks for Fortune 500 companies.

We service projects on a national level and have experience in a wide variety of commercial market segments including: medical, retail, government, food, and general office. This strategy supports our goals for aggressively growing our business.
We consider our drivers as one of the primary keys to successful routes. As a result, drivers receive premium compensation to ensure that their vehicles are properly maintained (2000 model year or better), and to minimize driver turnover on these routes. In addition, the pay allocated to these drivers takes into consideration our security screening measures, which include random drug testing and a complete criminal history and background check on a 6-month basis. The majority of our drivers are bonded. Our drivers are trained to handle blood borne pathogens and all new hires are trained to meet OSHA blood borne pathogens standards.  Additional training has been provided on medical transportation and the use of spill kits.  Drivers also carry temperature controlled containers for transporting sensitive specimens and food products.
